yea i think your confused....mustang is a type of dyno not software. u normally use a dyno while tuning to see your HP numbers and air to fuel ratios to adjust your tune to make it more powerful, safer, etc...

well the dyno is also a lot safer to tune on because your not on the open road. If your out driving on the road, you could be hit by some idiot driver. It allows you to play with the throttle and pay attention to all your gauges(boost, AFR, rpm) and not have to worry about other cars on the road with you.
