update
ok went back to the dyno today and ended up puting down 263hp 232tq afr was set at a flat 12.0 with 22 deg of timing flat across the board i made this on 15.5 lbs of boost iat 2 never went above 130 as for mods aem meth kit 10.0 diamond pistons 60s 2.8 pully header downpipe stock cat back ex single pass intake 3in **** intake and a billabong9687 ex ported head the car pulls like a beast from 4500 up and that is when the head starts to shine the tuner isent familar with the lsj platform he is an ls1 guru i know there is more left to get out of the car just take some time to do it

so 16.5* timing? you got alot of room to bump that up. unless you're heatsoaked all to hell... I run 20* all day with no cooling mods on 2.8" cars as long as their fueling is good and the iat doesnt go through the roof.
After the meth, you should be able to throw 25* at it running a 75/25 or 80/20 methanol mix.

Still, good #s for that low of timing.

If your running meth, you have a lot of room to grow.

What size nozzle are you running?
Whats your fueling look like?

care to share what size meth nozzle your using?

also, how are you dialing in P.E?

Rich to lean
Lean to rich
or flat AFR

Each have their own pro and cons.

Mine made about the same power with about the same mods. Stock cat-back, ZZP catted DP, Air Box Mod, and a 2.8... made 241/220. The only cooling mod I had was a stage 1 HE. Now I have a header and working on getting a cat-back, so I'm curious what she'll gain.
