My S/C Port-Polish Thread

So I recently got a spare s/c that i am porting/polishing. I have worked on it for about 3 hours so far, and its coming along quite nicely.

I didnt really mess too much with porting the inlet/outlet drastically, just a little bit was fine for me.

I still have a lot of work to do, still I want to sand the outlet more and make it smoother, and the same with the inlet. But my hands hurt from all the sanding so I called it quits for the day, here are my progress pics.

How it looks Stock

Snout and blades

polished up a little,

The inlet, I still have a lot more sanding to do, but you get the idea.

tonight I completely finished up all of the prep for polishing, I sanded it until smooth with 1500grit.

on friday im going to polish it and hopefully have it back together

Doesn't look like your ported it that much. Polished it pretty good, but not much material was removed.

its my 1st time doing it, so after some road testing im not happy, i'll remove it and take more material off.

you should see it now, im done with all of the polishing and it shines like a mirror. too bad nobody will be able to see it once installed lol.
my main focus was on smoothing everything up. I have 1 more i still have to do so i was just trying to get the feel for it
