WHat? That costs $245 brand new. I don't want a used one for fifteen bucks cheaper. Is it brand new? How many miles? PM me if your really interested in selling it. I am intrested but not for that price. Thanks, but let me know.

Is he good? Did he tune your car?
So I tried Zach06CobaltSC and he said I need more than one cobalt for him to tune since the travel wont be worth it...
So I still am in need of a good tuner in the North DE/South PA area. Does anyone know of someone?

There is only 18 degrees if i remember correctly in your car. Which should NOT cause knock with your mods. We have only tuned a few cobalts but have tuned over 1k GM LSX Vehicles. Tuning is tuning IMO. Yes diff cars like a few diff tricks but 18 degrees should not make your car get 6 degrees of knock. AFR is at 11.6

hello Fran, good to see you on here.
i'm Matt, the guy with the red Cobalt SS/SC that had the slipping clutch
it would be sweet to see you guys tuning more Cobalts and getting familiar with them, definitely help us locals out having a tuner closer.

Update
So a little update:
I decided to give the exhaust theory a try and bought a magna flow exhaust. This past Thursday Race Proven Motorsports (RPM) installed it for me along with a downpipe (and a wideband). The car is much quieter and the knock has indeed vanished. So moral of the story is RPM was right all along...and I'm a stupid *******.
But on the positive side the car feels and sounds way better than it did with my Hahn exhaust. I'm not sure what it was, but the drone was terrible and it was seriously raspy/ricey. No offense to those who love the Hahn, but I guess my knock sensors just didn't appreciate it.
The car feels great, feels more responsive, and I can drive it more spiritedly without every other car looking at me like I'm an ******* ricer. I'm proud to say my car is once again a sleeper.
SO huge thanks to RPM, who know thier **** and obviously can do work on any cobalt (they have installed basically everything on my car from the TVS to tons of suspension, so I'm pretty sure they have it all down). I respectfully withdraw this thread since the tune is in fact...for lack of a better phrase.... ******* money.
