reduces chassis flex when cornering. if you notice on alot of cars that take turns hard there body panels no longer align. thats because of chassis flex. i have a 97 cavalier with both front and rear strut bars, larger rear swaybar. and my chassis flex is minimal. you barily notice. the first signs of chassis flex is the gas cap not closing right and not sitting right then you get the hood not aligning right and doors not aligning right.. it also helps prevent rattles in the future. of course that cant be prevented in the cavalier, lol, but in the cobalt i'm sure it can be done. its a must have mod for any tuner enthusiest.

Sounds good! So, will this help the cars cornering at all?
I mean, its worth the price alone for eliminating chassis flex, because I went through some major repairs in my Z24 convertable due to this problem, but if it tightens up the handling as well, I will order one right now, otherwise, while a good investment, it can wait a little while.

the best strut bars you can get are the one piece ones. adjustable ones aren't as good due to them loosening up while doing turns. i know lots of people that had the adjustable ones and they sucked. they switched over to non adjustable ones and they love them. i myself have a mugen one piece and i love it.
