Is that 1/4mile with or w/out spray?

This is similar to my setup, cept I did dual pass, cobra HE, etc, instead of meth

I seriously think I want to run a small shot eventually.

nitrous, aside from possibly eventually the Harrop TVS, Seems like the easiest and most cost effective/logical for a daily driver to break into the 12's

I run meth for the street, Nos for track. I have a lot timing pulled on my custom tune so that I can run Mid grade. In florida we run out of high grade every time we have a hurrican. Also I see about 25.6 mpg I did not have to go extream on timing since I am runing a dry shot for extra power. I need the clutch to last a little while longer. By the way thats 1/4 mile is with spray on a cold day and I only got that one time. I usally get 13.8 1/4 becuase my clutch lets lose some times in second gear.

Hmmmm... you're running an Intense tune huh? I hope that works out for you better than others have.

You're making good power with it all, but a 50% boost cut will kill your track times. You need to ramp up the boost in first gear to set yourself up for full boost in second gear. I did a few passes at the the track messing around with it all, and the best pass I made is when the boost was ramped up in first gear. Get a clutch too! Other than that nice setup.

ditch the intense and stick with your own tune.

unless you like replacing pistons.

Intense is just plagued with problems. They started with the W-Body community and I, like many others, was sucked into buying their parts. Not all things from them are bad. Mainly just their tunes!

Back at Intense Drag Days of 2006 they had all of their cars down due to problems, and last year their retired Daytona GTP blew up halfway down the track. lol

Even from the GTP world, i have some friends that dislike intense for their business practices and ways (not testing parts enough, etc).... most go with zzp parts.

They have a new person doing there tunes now he is very conservitated and give sounds advise when he creates your tune. I really dough’s any tune from intense will do any damage to any ones car not at least any more. They recomend only 2.8 pulley max with a 7k limiter now. I have seen a few cobalt’s have issue with an intense tune in the past but it was from a mechanical issue on the car IE Water pump stopped working or to small of a pulley and to high IAT temps. every ones trying to push way to much out of there blowers, best thing to do get a nice running tune with 60 lb injectors and make the horsepower with a second power adder IE nitrous.

its not that there tunes are bad or the people that make the tune. its that canned tunes are bad different cars respond differently...
