I read your thread about your engine smoking and you ran your engine half empty oil. Did it end up being the PCV?
i believed it was half empty, but honestly, I believe I had misread the dipstick. Either way, it was just excessive crankcase pressure. I slapped a breather filter from ZZP on there, but it's just a patch. At least, well, it's a patch when considering state inspections and all. Not too mention, the breather filter only goes so far, and once you start spraying oil all over the valve cover, you'll want to start thinking of other options. I'm not gonna preach to you about the need to properly vent the system, but I will tell you that I suspect that the way I vented it played a role in how my engine got fucked. Can't prove it though (at least not until I crack it open).

Stupid fast, not used to waiting for turbo spool but oh my word when it does its nearly uncontrollable. AND my BOV is LOUD, so much fun to shift during stop lights cause everyone is staring at you when in your rear view mirror. LOL. AHHHHHH THIS IS AWESOME.

I know, the vids dont do it justice, so i got the CEL to go out for all but one Evap code, just need to remove the code sice i pulled the evap system off the car. There is no moresmoke off the engine and it has a nice ceramic powder coat smell, lol. The car is just awesome, so far.

I have a motor sitting with blown piston rings from excessive crank case pressure. Hook the system to a form of vacuum or be ready to deal with blown motors. All other cars that see boost deals with this, we arent any different.

I did the Test yesterday, from Atmospheric PCV to Vaccum I've been up to 2 point richer. It does lean out.

You still have a Pcv valve right? Mines deleted and blocked off and I'm just running my breather system

With the Saab manifold, which vacuum line are you supposed to T into for a boost gauge. Also, does the dump tube go towards the passenger or driver side on the zzp turbo mani?

Josh, your system is different lol. Without knowing the details of your system, others here could attempt to mimic it and fail because they leave the stock stuff intact and then dont vacuum reference.

I personally am looking at setting up a vacuum pump on my car with a catch can in the middle of the system. Car is seeing a lot of pressure and want to vacate as mush as I can.

So if I install a tube from my VC breather to my turbo intake (pulls vacuum only) with a catch can in the middle, you think that would suffice?

It should suffice, check the can often and make it the lowest spot in the line

I still wouldnt think just PCV is enough removal. I thought the PCV bottle necks down to a very small opening. I am going to block that off and drill a -10 and also vent from the cap and lead it all to the exhaust for removal with a catch can in the middle.

dont forget depending on your intake manifold (my hahn) there is a tube that is directly coming off the head into the manifold. this would vent the head when the TB slams shut and creates a vacuum. Problem with plumbing it to manifold can be that you pressurize the head as well under boost... I could also pull the hose off this and install it to the same catch can that you are using for you PCV, that would give you two oulets to depressurize the head/VC/crank case.

Rico, I followed you on here with your hahn setup, very sad to see it go after the giant thread you started. You are why I started and went with the Hahn stage 5. That and I got my turbo kit for really cheap. LOL

The PCV is on the back of your valve cover. You connect a line from that to your intake.
