well i cant speak for what I havent done but I think a tidier package would be a tvs on the stock laminova setup. pick your pulley and fuel and live long and happy with the TVS.

That's what I was originally planning on doing, but I've driven a few supercharged cars and never a turbo car, something new I guess haha. And yes I agree, I think it's actually pretty convenient to use the stock manifold, at least for someone who isn't planning on making 400+hp, and even then I don't think the stock mani would be a restriction.

you know man, you could be pioneering a new way, the forum is full of new ideas, build and see what comes of it. worst that could happen is you need to get some more piping and an intercooler later on.

Haha that's exactly what I was thinking man, I want to see what this kind of build would be capable of and if it'll run efficiently. If all goes well then this could be the best solution for the money. And definitely, if I see my IAT2's way over what they should be I could get an ic later.

Well how did it work out for him? Btw, would the ZZP Ecotec Turbo Downpipe work on a T04e turbo with a vband?

What's the trick to getting the turbo tight af on the mani? I thought it was good but I guess not and it's a tight area haha

slide the hot side up first since its smaller than the compressor than wiggle the compressor around until it leaps over the rack and pinion, rotate anyway neccessary to get it to kind of CURVE over steering and sway bar in that area. Took me a minute but it will fit.

Oh I have a different turbo than you though. Still big though.

The best source to use is one of the Oil Galley plugs on the back of the block behind the Coolant pipe... notice the missing plug/hole.

need to get another map sensor since i broke my tab to use on the tvs, also need to get the male end fitting to connect the feed line to the turbo housing. bung for oil pan will be here monday from treadstone, and ill be in business (haha after looking at this pic i realized the fitting is attached to the turbo in the baggy lmao)

I also used a 45 degree -an elbow off the block to aim the oil feed line away from the turbo

what kind of power are you looking to make daily driving? I made 420 but daily between 19-20 psi (400 whp) depending on ambient temps.

About how much psi would I need to be running to achieve a power/torque goal in the low 300s? 16? 18?
