Official Turbo LSJ thread!!!

That's what I was originally planning on doing, but I've driven a few supercharged cars and never a turbo car, something new I guess haha. And yes I agree, I think it's actually pretty convenient to use the stock manifold, at least for someone who isn't planning on making 400+hp, and even then I don't think the stock mani would be a restriction.

you know man, you could be pioneering a new way, the forum is full of new ideas, build and see what comes of it. worst that could happen is you need to get some more piping and an intercooler later on.

Haha that's exactly what I was thinking man, I want to see what this kind of build would be capable of and if it'll run efficiently. If all goes well then this could be the best solution for the money. And definitely, if I see my IAT2's way over what they should be I could get an ic later.

slide the hot side up first since its smaller than the compressor than wiggle the compressor around until it leaps over the rack and pinion, rotate anyway neccessary to get it to kind of CURVE over steering and sway bar in that area. Took me a minute but it will fit.
Oh I have a different turbo than you though. Still big though.

some pics had to modify the dump tube and tig weld the 46mm flange on it for the waste gate. Pays to have fabrication buddies will start going on this week.
need to get another map sensor since i broke my tab to use on the tvs, also need to get the male end fitting to connect the feed line to the turbo housing. bung for oil pan will be here monday from treadstone, and ill be in business (haha after looking at this pic i realized the fitting is attached to the turbo in the baggy lmao)
