Yeah I do that to hotties all the time haha and they always look!
Wasn't giving me issues during partial throttle.......only when I would let off the gas after being partial throttle in fourth/fifth gear. Went away after I switched to the tial q. Zzp's bov is just a paper weight for me right now.

^ Hey does your tial bov still stay open at idle? I'm thinking about taking mine apart and shimming it

you should shim it if its open at idle, being open sometimes causes idle to stumble and make the car run like crap. I threw one in mine and can hear it slightly higher around 1500rpm coming off off throttle.

bov open at idle shouldn't effect idle quality. It's all before the maf. that being said, I have the unpainted spring in my tial q and it doesn't stay open. the unpainted spring is for -16 to -19inhg and I pull -21inhg at idle

thats a good point about it being before maf, the reason i said that it would effect idle is because the directions with my turboxs bov said it would cause stumbling. I added the shim because i was getting noise in my chassis since it was bolted to the pipe. and the pipe is bolted just under my windshield water bottle. It kept the bov from bleeding off air at a higher rpm and would keep idle less noisy from the chassis vibration. Its hard to describe but there is a video of it around here somewhere, sounds like a bear growling in the floor.

So I took the piping off today and pressurized it to 25 psi. Nothing...

So far I have done the following:
Tested WG actuator to 20 psi, actuates.
Tested WG actuator without bc, and vented to atmosphere. still only 9 psi
Pulled piping, clamped end to turbo closed with a bottle, clamped tb closed with a 3" can. Pressurized to 25 psi. Nothing leaks.
Checked turbo, no axial play whatsoever (very good thing), however there is lateral (up and down play) but I dont feel or hear the turbo under boost.
I made a video that is 3 minutes long of every part of my manifold, turbo, downpipe. and watched it over and over, no soot, no cracks no loose anything.

Since the performance of the turbo has decreased over a 4 week period from 22 psi to 9 psi, I am assuming dirty oil or new motor build crud has messed with my bearings in the turbo. So I am now considering a rebuild with Forced performance and upgrade to their FP Green turbo internals. FP green makes awesome turbos for STI's and EV0's. Their internals would take me to 59LB a minute. So thankful for so much 20g support out there due to DSM's and JDM's.

well, i just went for a drive and thought to myself the only thing I didnt check was the IWG flapper. If it got crap in it, melted, failed, something... it would let exhaust gas by without fully closing to allow the turbo to full spool, and would explain only allowing the car to boost to 9psi. Need to pull my down pipe (vband, 1 bolt ) and look in there to see if its opening when I actuate the WG. WIth a 15lb spring it should stay shut until the boost on the turbo overcomes the spring, forcing the flapper open and allowing gas to bypass the turbine.

If it were the actuator spring it would allow the turbo to spool unctrolled with it vented to atmosphere so its not that. I already did that test.

mine is at -20 vaccum as well. I just dont get why my car isnt boosting over 10 psi any longer. I have checked every possible thing. I thought it was shaft play than hahn told me it wasnt, called me back and told me to troubleshoot but I already did everything he asked. Car runs great just cant figure why it has slowly decreased in boost since the first day I dyno'd it. Wondering if it is in fact my wastegate actuator.

Well tried tuning today didn't go so well car pulls like a raped ape on only 18psi. We were maxing out the maf though. Was seeing 67lbs per min. Gonna try a few more things anyone else have this issue with 3 inch piping ?

i have read several people going to 3.5" piping on the maf section of pipe.

I have posted about this several times and recently. LoL everyone spams new posts in here lately not so much reading. You can try to go to 3.5 in pipe section for the MAF. This often helps and is inexpensive.
