and to answer your question my tvs on the built motor walked away from an E46 M3 on spray that was over 420whp. 18psi on the 6262 feels ten times stronger. As far as people that were insinuating lag and the turbo is too big? lol thats funny. May be a combination of my motor and headwork, but my 62 feels like the tvs did in the lower to midrange, then when she gets into full boost its like omfg hang on

anyone have a good link or know a place you can buy pieces for a custom 4 inch intake? I need to do it soon so i can tie my catch can line, and a few other things into it. The purge solenoid line is now seeing boost, and i dont think it likes it so much lol

yea me and joe were like WTF?!? lol (this turbo is a monster, and in a .63 housing with my headwork and motor responds very nicely) Im sure the ceramic dual bbing center and billet wheel helps with spool as well

I believe those lb/min maf readings can be skewed depending on how the injectors are setup, doesn't change the fact that you've maxed the maf out but those numbers can be misleading.

NOW I have a leak or a bad WG. I did a leak down test on my piping and there was none from turbo to TB. I boost to 10 psi and then hold there, wont go any higher from 2500-7500. Still working trying to figure my next move. I must have a leak in my manifold or a bad wg spring/diaphram.

but my leak tester wont hold 10 psi? and idle dips sometime. also i'll leave this here..

I picked up a couple psi and 2 inches of mercury (in hg) of vacuum from taking my blow off valve and regreasing it, air was leaking past the the brass cylinder inside and using a thicker axle grease sealed it up. I was so excited cause I presurized the hose to the BOV and heard it coming out the BOV horn but it ended up not being the whole problem. So my guess is I have anther boost leak either in the brake booster hose or around a bolt or coupling on the manifold. If it is a leak that is holding me back from going over 12 psi now it has to be in the manifold or off one of the sensors mounted to it. I did pull the MAP and reseat it but it felt tight and sealed. I have checked everything else but the wastegate flapper.
Whatever it is it developed slowly over a few weeks and is now still not letting me go over 12 psi. Boost leaks are a PITA.

the BOV spring or being open had nothing to do with this issue. Since its on the actuator side not the piping that was leaking. The BOV held 25 psi when I pressure tested my piping, it has to be something I haven't pressurized yet like my brake booster hose because its so big, I haven't had something to test it.

It doesn't rub when you turn?
