Has anyone here ever washed their engine bay and then gotten a code for a random misfire? I've been getting the P0300 code since monday morning, I washed my engine bay sunday evening. I got it once before, but it turned off within a couple hours, this time it isn't turning off, could there be water under the coil pack?

I would never spray water near electronics, maybe I'm too used to working with class 3 electronics, but still.....why risk anything.....take your time with a rag and some engine degreaser

I covered everything electric with bags and used a power washer at one of those do it yourself car washes. I pulled the plugs today, put them back in, drove around for about 10 minutes, and the light turned off :P

Re gapped plugs at work today. But instead of logging the car and making some more adjustments, I had the pleasure of carpeting my sons nursery and now have a sore knee from the kicker lol. Gonna log her again and see how she feels. Now only if there was a way to disable that blasted engine over speed light lmao

I'm running the new 2.24 version. It depends what rpm when I see it. I'm sure the neutrals and other things don't help. I really wish it was adjustable but I haven't looked. Hell there isn't even a table to mess with the scip sensor. I was told on earlier ones there was. I'm sure me spinning tires all the time doesn't help lol.

run a modded 255 pump.

the overspeed light isn't going to stop you from reving till you fling a rod out of the side of the motor.

get a rule 1500 pump. set timing to over 9000. plug the wastegate so it doesn't open. you should be down track in no time.

i have a 255 already. Modded as in increase the voltage? think it will flow enough without a return or increased line size?
