run the mini afc or get a competent tuner to scale it and "fake it out"

I have had cracks that my 20g didn't move enough air to have a maf issue but that's not true, I just chose to ignore it and watch afr's instead. Made power well after the maf quit. AFR'S just needed to be watched as we tuned for WOT and PE table. I am about to add cams and a ZZP BRFPS and see what this 20g will really do.

where you getting your cash, I just went through a ton of savings and am just now getting caught back up paying off the credit card. Got my cams for 300 and my brfps for 290 something with military discount.

i'm not as rich as you guys think hahah. i just ball on a budget. i had zzp do this car mildly back in may of 2011. didn't port the head, kept the stock transmission, went light on the fuel system, single stage boost control, stock front end layout. still spent about $15k and made 600 to the wheels but kept it simple. now it's time to go big, over time. if you think i'm spending 9 grand in less than a 7 month time span you're nuts hahah.

I built my motor for about well let me see...

20g turbo kit used 2000
ported head, ferrea stainless valves, zzp 82 springs 900
block sleeved decked honed 1300
pistons 400
bal shaft deletes 80
stock rods, new bolts 60
arp 130
gm mls 80

oh geesh i will be here all day, with clutch kit, misc parts and crap I figure I have 8000 in the engine, 1700 in wheels and tires, another 600 in cams and fuel system. I am about going on 12000 ish with suspension exhaust and other things like 500-600 in gauges. Then i recently had to rebuild the turbo myself for 100 in parts, Had to have my intake welded up 40 bucks. Etc etc... Painted hood myself, bought paint, and other goods, for the entire car, smoothed trunk, body work another 700..

Oh man makes me sick that it never ends...

in hindsight though i have saved thousands doing everything myself, even bodywork I used to outsource, I now do myself. That hood on my car was just me. Turned out amazing.
