be very very careful over 15 psi with 93 octane. You can tune a safe setup over that but you must approach this with caution. Its easy to burn valves or pop sleeves without a good reliable tuner. I have done both without a good tuner.

Yes, that's what I'm afraid of. I have a tuner that has tuned many cars, but I don't know how much of a dick my car is going to be. Live and learn I guess.

I'm running a 3 bar map and a return style fuel system. The map is really there so we can read psi over 26 psi. Nothing to do directly with the fuel return.

And why would you NOT get a tune? That's like saying you're going to change the oil but not the filter.

True about the tune but he was asking a lot of new questions and I was on a canned tune when I broke stuff over 15 psi. SOOO... I meant a canned tune should not go over 15 to be safe. I would have been fine on my original engine had I had a real tune, but I turned up the MBC and boom, my valves and later my block were gone.

Is there an actual 'How to' and Parts List anywhere? Not reading through 101 pages. Lol.

I found their's earlier, $4000 for the whole kit. If I decide to do this I'm gonna get each piece from different places, that much money for my DD is a little high. It being my DD is actually what makes me think just playing with the m62 that's on it might be a better idea. I only want like 300whp, 270ish wtq. Something fun but not too crazy so it's still reliable.

hey guys i need some help. if some dont remember i have a 2.2 built and turboed. well while i was at boot camp my dad took the car out. it now stalls randomly, stick wide open, and smokes. it also has a purge solenoid code. i talked to term2 and he said to change the purge and vent solenoid. would those cause it? and how do you change the vent solenoid. i have a guy that is approved for a loan that wants to buy it so i gotta have it fixed asap. thanks

300 wheel on the m62 is possible, yes, but that's really pushing it. I would honestly say there is more load/stress on my engine than the average 400whp snail setup. But it is what it is. All that will be changing before long

Stay with the supercharger. If I could go back to last year I would have just built up my SC and left it alone. I have spent a ton of money on this car and it just silly financially. I will never see any return on the 100's of hours I put into my built motor or the thousands I have spent this far.

I will be holding onto my car for many years to get out of it what I put into it. I figure this however. I have about 20,000 into my car making some really good numbers. If I bought a new car that was half the power and new it would cost me 30,000. So... I am still 10K dollars ahead if I hold onto her and enjoy her.

Just saying power isnt everything. I could have had just as much fun working on my M62 before the whole turbo swap thing.

those are evap codes. Delete them in HPT problem solved. Unless they are setup pre turbo they are useless. I have my EVAP stuff removed for the most part. Its now converted to a BRFPS. LOL

Hi Brandon,

Wow, you have totally hit it out of the park with your Cobalt. You win the prize for the best S20G we've ever seen! I am so looking forward to learning more. Was surprised to see we've not already friended here on Fbook, so I added you too.

A sincere thank you for your amazing effort, and please tell me more when you get a chance, this is simply amazing news and I want to tell the world!

Appreciatively, Bill

Also stated on their facebook page that I am the highest WHP 20g they had seen. Thank you E85...
