Official Turbo LSJ thread!!!

I have a 3" MAF and it ran out around 20 something PSI with a boost spike of 24 on a 20g now that is a lower CFM than probably some of the Precision turbos that others are running so that 3" is a bad idea in my option but its one you listed above in the quote. Unless you are on a 20g ( I am doing fine with my 3" MAF tube at 24 psi/440whp).
As for tuning you really need to have someone that is a very trusted tuner. You car is only going to be as good as the person tuning it. My tuner and I (I gave him the research I had done on HPT forums for our cars) made the power enrich table richer at higher rpm.
You command more fuel by enriching the PE(eq) table. It takes this value and divides it by commanded AFR. So you can simply tune around it without screwing with the MAF freq table. That PE table is can be a pain in the butt; however, it can also make your dreams come true.

More people need to understand this, if you get your MAF dialed in, the rest of the fueling is very simple to adjust. It takes time and patience to get a good, accurate MAF tune, especially on a very heavily modded car (like a turbo swap), but once it's there, you can very simply adjust your target a/f in any range and they will be surprisingly accurate.

Ha. He called me a lil bit ago and said hes sorry for not being around. He said we will work on it when my maf tube gets here and said it still wont help much and I NEED an afc.
He finally agreed to look at ur file and I told him bout adding to the last scale in the maf to read when I max it and he said we can look into it

You can make the car run nice on a MAF setup if you want and you will always get more accurate closed loop driving behavior with a MAF's ability to compensate for weather changes. SD is easier for straight up power and simplicity, but it's still old-school. Like popping a carb on an LS motor in a swap, might be simple compared to EFI and effective at the drag strip, but not the same.

However, above 8192 maf control is a must, s the PE table stops and uses last cell.

Thats really what it comes down to.
Go find a used HPT cable with a couple credits and snag it up cheap. You will have fun learning which changes do what and you will have support from everyone in here that is trying to help you. Most importantly, you won't have to wonder if your car is running correctly or not, or how safe it is.

You got things wet. Take off TB connector and hit it with electronics cleaner and see if the codes come back on.

Ok. Just something I noticed after sitting in the car for a bit after turning it off. Also does anyones car take a sec to actually stop running once you turn the key off? I think its normal. With the heavy flywheel keeping the momentum and the alt supplying juice still. Idk tho.
