The LSJ/LNF plug and the 2.2 plug are NOT the same.

I'll go check my wiring though, as I did my swap when it was next to impossible to find an LNF Alt, so I used the 2.2 Alt.

EDIT: the stock wiring on my car is a Red (+) and Grey (GND?) wire.

If you place the new plug on a flat surface so that the "Release Lever" is on top... the Right wire is connected to the Red Wire. Once plugged into the Alt... that would put the Red Wire on bottom.
Aaahhhh.... Good to know

i bought my LNF alternator from mongorat (the parts guy on this forum) for 50 bucks. Sold my LSJ alternator for 50 bucks. Net cost - free.

if you are internet shopper savvy the part number for the LNF alt is 20862828

takes time man. not at you but people think they can throw a turbo togther, maybe even an engine build and its no big deal. It takes time to get things worked out. Its not considered a bolt on like a pipe on an LNF would be. Turbo, tuning, etc takes time to find the problem, troubleshoot the problem, fix, and repeat. I have about 4 months into my built motor and another 4 months in tuning, boost leak fixes, tuning, etc. I have had my car for about a year and I have only been enjoying 400+ hp for only a few months out of that year. I can tell you though its worth it. My car couldnt be running better right now. I have 3000 on newly built engine, turbo, and a few other things and I could not be happier with the wheel spin and blow off valve noise around people who think they are fast. Just the other day I had an STI guy stop me at the BX and told me about how he was making 300+ whp. Then I showed him my glovebox full of dyno sheets. His look was priceless.

Thanks man. I've done about 1 1/2 pull in it and it was amazing. Hearing the full spool and bov going off then boom a backfire. Lol. It's gonna be fun I'm just thinking of the future of that car. Can't wait to drive it around freaking people out.

Alright i need a little input from you turbo lsj's. I currently am in the middle of building my LSJ-T and am stuck between 2 different turbos. the gt2871r and the gt3071r Both would be .64a/r with a t3/4.

I'm looking to make around 350whp. Has anyone got any experience with these two turbos? Just want to see if anyone has numbers on a balt for them. They both seem to be full spool by 3800rmp ish.
