Official Turbo LSJ thread!!!

I am not sure what Mr. B has against surge tanks, he is normally a pretty astute fellow. Must be a KY thing or sumthin.

without a collector/reservoir/surgetank call it what you want, sticking an inline 044 or similar on the fuel delivery line will certainly add to any problems you are having. How will the fuel pressure be regulated? By the in tank pump? Based on my limited knowledge your idea wont work.

Now if you go back to Mr B and his objection to a surge tank, leaving your fuel system stock is the easiest and will work so long as your LSJ power goals are below 350.

So lets say you do run an inline 044. At flow rates where the tank ump keeps up, 044 is being force fed. This is all fine and dandy unless the 044 says eff you I don't want pressure on my backside.
Middle scenereo: 044 has is flowing the max of the in tank. This is nearly the same as running the 044 by itself.
Until....
044 passes in tank flow rate. Now your just dragging the inline down.
Surge tank is simple and takes all the negatives out of running an inline, other than costin just a hair more.

Back to your position that you wish to put in an 044 inline and nothing else. Go ahead do it and let us know how it turns out.

To say I'm enjoying my day would be an understatement

The big one right in front of my car is mine. The other big one is one my friend had on his evo before he got the buscher BMFIC, and the other 2 little ones are my friends failed attempt at duals on his G35 lol

Got tuned on 9 psi because I didn't have my bc set up correctly. It's meh. Probably about the same as my TVS 2.6 set up. Happy is running well, gonna fix the bugs then go back for 20 psi

Did your TVS make like 300whp? lol remember, turbo's feel faster. I thought my friend Brian's car was gonna eat me after driving it and being it it, then I put a few cars on him. Just giving you crap though. My friends 2.0 Evo made 418whp all the way down on WG 14lbs on his 6262. Thats good power for such low boost. GSC S'2s and 10:1 CR.
Why didn't you take the 30 seconds to switch the vacuum lines on your boost controller so it worked?

What wastegate and BC you have? Shouldn't need the top port unless its a ZZP BC. From turbo to inlet on BC, then from outlet on BC to side wastegate port and leave top port open to atmosphere if its a newer tial IIRC. It depends on the gate though. Could have unthreaded the lower port and put it into the top too if thats the issue.
