You'll be fine for the most part.
At low boost levels, desired turbo and sc cams will be similar. As you approach pressure equilibrium, which is different for each turbo, desired cam profile leans more toward an NA cam. Beyond that, when running high boost, that's where reverse splits come in.
Nick, yours are more suited (IMO) for moderate boost, but will still do much better than stock at high boost levels.

Long story short, when someone says a turbo cam is a turbo cam, I el-oh-el.

The guys at comp are VERY good, and will work with you on a grind specific to your desired setup. Mine are spec'd out, I just haven't sent the blanks in yet. Iirc they're 264/262, 224/222@0.050, .453/.456, on a 112.

Mine are the s2's as well, although they will still hit my goals. I'll probably have to run somewhere in the high 20's for boost, which I'm fine with.

my car has a hesitation, the more boost i run. i can run 12 psi or so and rev the engine all the way out. if i try to run 20psi like i want, rpms get slower around 5500 and stop near 6k. The engine sounds terrible and sputtery.

upon tuning, we noticed at that higher boost, the MAF Hz start to quiver and eventually drop ( in the 5500-6k range)

-to4e 50 trim with .63 turbine
-2.5" catless exhaust
-#60s
-3" intake, lsj intake manifold with zzp adaptor plates
-turbonetics deltagate with new 9-13psi spring, voodoo boost controller
-step colder ngk-r .028 gap

I talked with zzp about the issue. they assured me that the lsj intake manifold was fine.
they think its a stuck lifter or bad coil? even when i told them its directly maf related

Your knocking... run a better fuel or decrease timing

Axelthered05, you need a bigger turbo, cams wont help much, the k04 is running out of wind before you get to 5k rpm

im not knocking. we tuned the car, no knock even when it starts to sputter. without any added timing, still no knock when it does.

so detonation is out of the question

its not out of the question, if you have a dead knock sensor then you wont see KR but you will be knocking, have you ohm'd the sensor?

not throwing a knock sensor code and doesnt seem to knock at any other rpm. but possibly.
I have not checked the resistance, seems to behave at other airflow numbers

Have your tuner out misfires in the scanner. They should have been there already. Could be a coil as well since you're at a 28 already.

Everything points to blowout. Trace it down, fix it up

it feels like a wicked bad blowout. i hate to test if ive fixed it! car gets nastyy.
If i let it rev to the point where it starts to freeze up, usually i get a CEL for misfire but its the random code, not specific to any cyl

I cant remember exactly what my wideband said when we tuned, it was weeks ago.
But i do remember that it was still getting pletly of fuel, according to the HP software.
The only thing that happend was we noticed a big change in the MAF freq.

The Maf frequency climbed as normal when I did a pull. But as it boosted higher and the rpms rose past 5k, the freq started to keep its position or slow. Then eventually dropped down causing the car to freeze and stop pulling completely.
Also, this does not happen if I run like 12 psi of boost, it can rev all the way out
