I used to get pulled over all the time when I was sc with 2.25" exhaust with a gutted muffler. I'm trying to slowly mod this new exhaust just enough without being too loud.

Found several in the $2300-3500 range but would be cheaper to buy from ZZP lol, Ill keep looking, I have already spoken to Mongo, he doesnt go after 2.0 because they are too expensive, he has a 2.4 but my pistons wont fit that block from what I am understanding, but I maybe wrong. I have Diamond pistons for LSJ, will they fit a 2.4 block correctly?

They will not fit. I'm pretty sure he will build you a complete 2.1 short block for around $2500

Sell the LSJ parts you have and apply it to a motor from him. Best way to go IMO and you have a 2.1

There really isn't any set limit. Do a leak down test and see how the engine is.

well the car runs great, did a compression test a few months ago 185-190 all cyl.
Im just curious, ive got 117k now.
to4e 50 or 57 trim, .63 a/r. The hotside has .63 stamped but the compressor side doesn't have an a/r number

Its a no name turbo tho bought a used twincharge kit and used that to do my swap.

My tuner is gunna head up within a couple weeks.

Should I try to see if the maf translator kills the high boost wall im hitting? I wont be going any higher than 18

Hey guys new to the site. I'm actually getting ready buy my lsj turbo kit in a month or so. I already have decided which kit i'm gonna do. ZZP s256 and 80# injectors, and 82# valve springs. My question to you guys is which catback exhaust system i should go with/ I want it to be a deep sound if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to being another one of the turbo lsj's.

Possible but unlikely. Jon and I made 508 on stock springs.
Well, stock everything for that matter.

if the engine has good compression I assume that it was never beaten on. so I also assume that at 117k the valve springs are okay.

waiting on my tuner to help me out with a new maf calibration..

Josh's car is putting way more boost through the stock stuff and revving high with no issues, i doubt it's a valve float issue. There has to be something sensor related going on.

Can valve float get worse depending on how much air the turbo flows? Example a k20 at 25psi and a 50 trim .63 turbine at 25psi?
