Hey guys help!!
Does anyone think a 2.5" catless downpipe to a 3" catback is a waste?
My current setup is a 2.5 dp to a 2.5 catback. But I'm curious if that catback will help my spool time a little.
The to4e 5bolt I have pushes too far over with the zzp manifold. So I can't fit 3" pipe up there for a down pipe.
We will be running 3", all the way up to the subframe area.
Lemme know what you think

You can make 400whp with a single 2.5" pipe out to the rear, so having a 12-16" of 2.5" is not going to hurt you. Depends on your goals (street/strip). I doubt you could even see a difference on a dyno chart. 12-16" of 2.5 pipe isn't going to hurt you, just make sure it's mandrel. There are guys with smaller import motors who've made 500+ with 2.5" mandrel bends.
