got a question. im about to do a lsj turbo swap and 450whp is as high as i want to go does the s256 get up to 400whp without tons of boost? and ill be on e85 with forged pistons

 

oh and another question you can order the turbos from zzp with .55 or .70 ar housin now with the zzp turbo kit which ar housing do you get because im not seeing anywhere on there that says what you get. how is zzp's race tune?

 

just get the s252et 450 is gonna blow a stock motor especially when you put forged pistons in stock sleeves. s252et spools fast as **** and can go 400+ so. i'd get the car personally tuned something like that you don't really want a canned tune imo..

 

great so i gotta get new sleeves put in it haha and 380-420 would make me happy enough

and yes i hate canned tunes but i need it to get from the garage to vince

 

turbo does not spin for a good minute upon start up.

yeah called bullseye and bill said something may have just been inside the turbine housing cause once it started goin it just went like normal. took it for a drive and there was very very little smoke at first. by the time i got back there was none. the exhaust is cleared up so im guessing the smoke at first was just the oil residue in the exhaust. but its free for them to take it apart and inspect everything and put it back together. but i think i'm gonna drive it for a bit and see how things look

 

well as long as there isnt any smoke you should be good. buddies turbo just had this problem and it was the seals but his **** was smoking hella bad

ok so what i understand is running forged pistons in stock sleeves is a no go. can the valve train handle 450whp? really dont wanna do much more to the motor unless i need sleeves
