Hi people,

can't find the answer and don't want to start a new topic so hence the question here:

Can you put a 2.4 IM on a LSJ (B207 in europe) ?? And when boosted, how much psi can the 2.4 IM handle? Looking for 8-10 psi of boost.

Thank you,
Daniel

Goedemiddag!
the better option is the LK9 saab manifold for the LSJ. the 2.4 mani is plastic and will not sustain pressure

So after doing some more researching I've decided against going the cheap k04 route. After numerous people saying it's just no good on the lsj. Was looking at the pte 5554, any opinions on that turbo? Goals are not big, 300ish whp will make me happy for now.

Also if I go with this pte 5554, does anyone know if the Hahn or zzp downpipes could be made to work? I don't know of any good tuner shops around me and am currently lacking a welder, so the more parts I can buy that won't require too much fab work the better. Would like to use the zzp pipe so I can recirc my wastegate. No screamer pipes for me, would like to keep it as quiet as possible.

the zzp dp could be made to work, but you would for sure have to use their manifold and have a very skilled fabricator line up the recirc pipe.

there's a reason mine goes out the hood, and it's not purely for noise

I was planning on using there manifold. Would the downpipe work better if I didn't go the recirc route and ran a screamer pipe? Or should I just plan on having to have one built? Really want to recirc as I would like to keep it as quiet as possible.

Anyone here running meth injection on thier LSJ-T? I was looking into something else than drilling a hole in my charge pipe for the nozzle. Like a throttle body spacer but I can't seem to find one for the 2.4 TB.

Looking for something cleaner for an install if possible. Maybe I'll just get a tb spacer made.

So the car does still exist? lol

May be hitting up the local dyno dynamics on Thursday just to play around a bit. I am not expecting great numbers (stock LSJ makes about 160-170whp on it), but it will be fun to see how much I can gain and what each lb of boost does. And way safer than dialing in higher boost on the street.

so i just bought 80s. my 60s max out when its under like 72 degrees out.

someone on the dreaded css gang said he was maxing out 80s with his tvs setup and about 330whp.

Is that BS or no? cause im running a bit more than 330 and just starting to max out my 60s
