Stock cams? That is a cam position sensor performance code. It's not as common as the crank/cam position correlation code.

thats interesting. cause i just got one of those a few weeks ago. haven't had anything since though. i think it comes from sitting at that weird idle issue if i don't catch it soon enough. where my wideband drops to --- and throttle is lagged. it hasn't happened in quite a while, at random really. but i haven't had any codes in 3ish weeks

anyone know how a cutout sounds on the turbo lsj swap... i have a 3" down pipe cat-less and then ill be 3" all the way back ... wondering if it would benefit for the cutout for performance, sounds is a plus but who cares if the performance is there

You'll be fine with your 3'' catless if performance is what your worried about.

Considering wiring in a vacuum pump for crank case ventilation. Was looking into wiring it to the old intercooler pump wiring, that way I can set it to come up at a certain ECT.

All of the BW guys, what size feed line are you using? Im thinking that my 4an may still be too large and need either a restrictor or a 3an line

Turbo Swap

I am interested in making my lsj a turbo with the zzp swap kit. zzp is about a 30min drive from my house . I havent decided on how much power yet but ill keep it between 350-400. So I went to look at pricing out everything that I would want for it, keep in mind my car is 100% stock except for aftermarket headlights and brake rotors so I need a lot yet. Just curious how much $ you all have invested to get to where your at. ZZPerformance - Wish List < my wishlist... comes out to about $7000 with: turbo kit, stage 4 clutch, axles, catback, front and rear trans mount, brfps, flywheel, and a revised shifter bracket, and thats with no install or tuning cost. Is there anything else that I should get with this setup? anything that isn't really necessary? I've read through this entire thread and still cant make up my mind, lol. But from what I can gather I should be ok making 350-400 on stock internals. Actually now that I think about it I will also need lsd since I am one of the unlucky ones that didnt get one stock.... more $$.

the thing with the vacuum pumps is that they're all belt driven. i've been trying to do some research on if a brake booster vacuum pump might work as they can be mounted remotely. trying to figure out if it can be run as a pcv pump and how much of a load it would put on the battery. something like this

Stainless Steel Brakes 28146 Stainless Steel Brakes Electric Vacuum Pump

won't need some of the stuff on there like brfs, findanza flywheel, clutch, axels, right away....mines still on the stock clutch @ 65k and doesn't slip at all @ 15psi and i ride it alot lol...when time comes just get the gmpp clutch kit and ur stock flywheel resurfaced. id ditch some of that extra **** and add the tial q bov, switch to s252et, and get the dumped wastegate (save money on this).won't need lsd tranny per say mines not lsd im just gonna get some slicks or drag radials mounted to my old winter tires and put them on since i only drive it weekends really lol cheaper to replace when it breaks too.

not all of them, the one that Im looking at is a VW Secondary Air Injection Pump, its just electric, no belt needed

http://www.amazon.com/07K-131-333-2-.../dp/B005B0IES4

this ones on amazon, pretty expensive from them, Ive found some on ebay that were far cheaper, but it gives you an idea of what it looks like and how it functions.

run lines from oil cap and valve cover to a catch can and from catch can to pump and then pump to intake of VTA
