Does the meth kick in right when you knock? Could it be rich tip in knock from the meth? I have seen this before on meth kits. Just throwing it out there.

Do you have an indicator light that tells you if the meth is spraying?

slawson, have James check your tune file. there are things you can adjust that will keep you Cruise from activating. I havent touched my HPT stuff lately so Im running blank on which **** you need to change.

You should try tuning with Ivest & Diamond Logic Builder, FML we have to use it at work. some is easier but there is sooooooo much **** that you can **** up quickly.

Jonny, it sounds like your car may be pulling timing for the meth and then not getting it. where was it spraying at when you were tuned?

I would choose the 256et because its a great mid range turbo. It only spools slightly slower than the 252 but can produce a higher volume of air and therefore more relilable HP. Or hell you could always get a 366XL like me

The settings I havent changed since my tune when I was no knock at all. It's very possible its a prob with the wiring. It has to be using some meth other wise Id know right away cus the car would buck like crasy if it wasnt getting any. I have the progressive controller from devils own. Im so unhappy with the job they did installing it I hate going back to them but dont have much choice atm.

Its not hard to wire, how could they mess it up so bad? Check the nozzle, lines, etc. Hit the test button at idle and see what happens to the AFRs if they go rich and you stumble it is working.

cus they hired a n00b to do it. The guy was there for less then a week he qq'd and left cus he wanted more to do. It ended up being a short like before....cus the ******** that did it mounted the controller on my fuse box so wires are getting caught up in the engine bay area.

At least they fixed it so Ill will be good till I pay someone to redo it all the way I want.

Plus side found a guy more local gonna take my car to. He does lots of engine builds and fab work for high horsepower v8s so he should be capable of fixing my exhaust leak lol.

Installing my turbo kit in a couple weeks and been trying to think about every aspect of the install so i don't run into any problems. I was wondering if I need to drop the subframe in order to install the s252et turbo?

no you dont. what i think takes the most time is just taking off your oil pan. make sure you clean up the previous gasket pieces on the bottom of the block before you install the new tapped oil pan. putting up the turbo is alittle pain in the ass but once you get it in its starts to get alittle bit easier.
