I agree with Rob, I shift at 7-72(ive seen my RPMs go to 79 with a NLS).
Does anyone happen to have a ZZP turbo kit base file for the s256? I am helping with an install and the guy bought the kit used. I will need to flash him with a file to get us over to the dyno. Pm Me if you have anything plz

If you shifted like Ricky Bobby... you wouldn't lose boost at all in-between shifts.
Even when I was on the journal bearing PTE SC5031E, I didn't have slow spool problems after shifting.
More than likely, your problem is a combination of slow shifting and using a base tune. Probably a little bit of shifting too soon, as well. Shifting at 6500 is for fgts. Shifting before 7000 is also for fgts. 7000 to 7200 is optimal. I shifted at 7400 on a stock long block for over 60,000 miles. Also, the tune ZZP provides is a base tune. Too many people get into the thinking that this should be a top notch tune. It's not. It's a base tune. It's designed to be safe and to get the car running so that it can make its way to a dyno for proper tuning.

I have a base file they sent me for my 256et kit, its set up though for brfs because thats what he gave me since they didn't have any tunes without it for the stock fuel system, that could also be another reason my car is funny.

yeah i know i was kinda upset zzp did that i payed for a tune to start out and thats what they gave me and i even said something about it and he said we dont got any tunes written for stock fuel system

That is dumb, how can they have tunes only for BRFS... Well once that injection is corrected its going to skew all the fueling.

Any base tune that they provided would be far from "Perfect". The MAF Scaling might be "perfect"... but the tune as a whole should have a lot of room to play with and gain power.

I'll have to get a video next week when im off. i also was trying things, and in second gear not wot but pedal almost the whole way down about 90% and the car broke up at like 6k and stuff

mine will do that occasionally also if im not wot but not half pedal lol. it's the bov opening when it shouldn't i think, on mine at least which sounds similar. don't happen all the time so idgaf though works fine

O ye of lil faith lol, you better be near your phone this weekend lol. Ill be texting you when i get a chance to sit down and start working on this. have you had a chance to take a look at the super long logs I sent you? I think my issue is about to manifest in the worst possible way but trying as hard as possible to be in a new car ASAP to get this one taken apart.

Do we have videos of the S252ET and the S262ET lurking around on the site? I'm torn between the two. I read full spool on the S252ET is 3,000 but I don't know when the S262ET gets its full spool. I want 400whp on 91 Pump gas with no methanol injected into it. I would like to do that around 20ish PSI. Is this possible? I'm going to keep researching some more. I'm tired of this SC crap. I want turbo.

when i do some more tuning ill have the go pro hooked up
400 on 91 @ 20psi probably won't happen on either, will prob be close but no reason not to turn it up a few more lbs.
