I in a way agree with you. I'm not going to be pushing any extreme power out of my car. I know the stock motor can take a lot. But I guess the burning question is how long can it take it for? I drive a lot with my Balt. I guess not as much now that I have a winter beater. But I don't want to install a stock motor only to blow it up again later from fatigue.

beat the hell out of mine for 2 years and over 25k miles before I pulled the motor (was still fine and had @185psi compression all 4 cylinders) infe's was 3 years over 400whp and he beats the hell out of the car. Has a little blow by so he's pulling the motor (@over 35k miles) to do a built setup and go for full retard (it's fwd after all). Thing still ran fine, he blew the trans and had to drop it anyway, so one thing lead to another as usual.

I guess what I need to do first is check my bottom end. If everything is good there (oh man I hope so) getting a sleeve job done by mrbelvedere would actually be cheaper than buying a used motor. Going with I took the used motor apart and put in pistons as you suggested.

Moms are always good to borrow $$$ off of when a toon blows a motor. Anyways, I'm a zzp and Mr.B nut slinger so no complaints as they are raking it in due to the ky lube fanclub, an explosive combination of pre detonation and fecal matter with poor grammar skills.

Time to fade away gracefully James, but that's wishful thinking and unlikely as it hasn't happened yet.

I could have went more aggressive with the car, but i even told him i wasnt going to due to his mileage. **** his meth nozzle could have stopped spraying for that split second which could have cause the speratic detonation if thats what caused it. It could also be from revving off the rev with stock springs, it could also be from when he was catted and his cat was clogged. He was also having issues with his check valve before. So anyways like i said keep playing the blame game... Its immature and your worthless to our the community with the way you act and treat people... Your mommy should put you in a corner!!!

You actually don't know all the facts of my car James. My car has 100,000 KILOMETERS not miles. CA NA DA remember. My meth pump failed around a year ago. Never saw max kr. Not even close. I started to put my foot into it, it started to knock, I let off. I could continue on but there's no point. Yes there are tons of reasons why my motor did what it did, so lets drop it already.

TStone quit fueling the fire or GTFO.
