and 554whp on my car til I got stupid with the boost controller, and @530whp + on infe's car (completely stock motor minus cams and valve springs)
my advice, find a low mileage non blown up stock motor and throw some pistons in it with a machine shop checking it out and a light hone.

beat the hell out of mine for 2 years and over 25k miles before I pulled the motor (was still fine and had @185psi compression all 4 cylinders) infe's was 3 years over 400whp and he beats the hell out of the car. Has a little blow by so he's pulling the motor (@over 35k miles) to do a built setup and go for full retard (it's fwd after all). Thing still ran fine, he blew the trans and had to drop it anyway, so one thing lead to another as usual.

I guess what I need to do first is check my bottom end. If everything is good there (oh man I hope so) getting a sleeve job done by mrbelvedere would actually be cheaper than buying a used motor. Going with I took the used motor apart and put in pistons as you suggested.

Moms are always good to borrow $$$ off of when a toon blows a motor. Anyways, I'm a zzp and Mr.B nut slinger so no complaints as they are raking it in due to the ky lube fanclub, an explosive combination of pre detonation and fecal matter with poor grammar skills.

fact, tune wasnt that aggressive.
FACT, CAR HAD 100K MILES+,
FACT, CAR WAS PUSHING 25+LBS,
FACT, car wasnt tuned for the cooler air yet (not my fault) we arranged for somthing later that week.
fact, in the logs once car was done afr was mint and is what was asked of me 11.8
fact, tune was finished 0 kr
fact, his meth kit malfuctioned before and he recieved max kr. (not during the sleeve issue)
fact, he stated he was loosing coolant before all this happend.
fact, he was revving to 7400 on stock head. springs and all
topend timing of 22* isnt much.. and i didnt get rid of the spark adders for the removal of timing for iats, ect and still had the low octane map.. You can keep blaming the tune all you want but proof is all there. Tune was fine. I could have went more aggressive with the car, but i even told him i wasnt going to due to his mileage. **** his meth nozzle could have stopped spraying for that split second which could have cause the speratic detonation if thats what caused it. It could also be from revving off the rev with stock springs, it could also be from when he was catted and his cat was clogged. He was also having issues with his check valve before. So anyways like i said keep playing the blame game... Its immature and your worthless to our the community with the way you act and treat people... Your mommy should put you in a corner!!!
