other than that I am totally not qualified to comment on this. Japetr is getting more power out of a TVS than anyone on here and still running, by a long shot, so props to him!!

nothing wrong with a lift pump but that 360ltperhr pump is more then a lift pump lol in the end he may need more pump but reguardless of the pump the 80s arent going to cut it but as for the surge tank i dont think it is needed and dont forget what area47 made and his is still running

Area and DarkmanX both made ~375whp 2 years ago, so I wouldnt say its the most, especially by far John, but it is very impressive, and he has a solid motor that will take the power easily and reliably. Elite_cyborg made near 360whp as well. I will find out in spring what I make after I throw the cams in, but I'm hoping for around the same. My trap speeds suggest I should be fairly close.
JapEatr, I know I am down an ATI and cams from your setup as my car sits now, but I have just a walbro 255 and ID1k's on an otherwise stock fuel system besides a fuel pump rewire and I have fuel up to 7600 rpms and the occasional 7800, even on the summer blend of E85. Like I said, I'm not flowing quite the air you are, but it gives you some idea.

yes its true .How soon I forget. Area was first of all ran TVS as a tested on his 07, jap has an 05, darkmanx pulled a huge number and then parked it/sold it. Area I talk to many times in a week, I will ask him but if he did that number, but he didnt keep it, he ran 340 something on the street. But I have not seen anyone near that since Area stopped doing it, and X went and got a G8 ....

If they used their standard scanner it was probably set up for v8. Which averages bank 1&2.
We have no bank2, so your idc gets averaged with zero.
Meaning your actual idc was 108%.
Which makes perfect sense and explains everything.
Problem solved.
Up your base pressure by 10 psi and watch what happens.

Do that. Depending what base pressure you're running now, you could get by for a while upping the fp a bit. Still high Idc's though, and idle will suffer as you turn up base pressure.
Id1k or bust.

I have the correct ones. Went through headaches to get them; ended up finally getting straight to the guy that helped develop them and handles all the ID tech data.
They're posted in a sticky over on rlf.
Our PCM lacks alot of features and the idle is picky but smooth. I'm still ironing that out but they run amazingly. Infra can attest to my tables.

This seems like it should be it's own thread. Figure out the IDC issue and let us know. A couple of things, if the pump is truely maxxed out a bosch 044 wont help as the dw300 outflows it to about 70 psi. It is also possible that you are losing power to the pump, at 70psi it needs about 17 amps. Check the voltage drop on it.

it shouldent even be attempted as a get buy

Pumps and injectors both have RANGES of pressure they can operate in.
You CAN up the pressure until you either reach the max operating pressure of the injectors OR reach the low flow limit of the pump.
As long as you're within the ratedax psi of the injectors you can turn them up safely. The issue is that pump flow capacity drops as pressure increases, so you have to find a balance between the two.
Edit: I suppose I should know better than to assume ppl on the shortbuss can think with reason and common sense. I'll be sure to try and make my explanations black and white from now.
Oh course you can't just keep cranking up the pressure forever. **** will be flyin.
John I know you have common sense. Japeatr I don't know you yet, but you seem sharp.
