Oh course you can't just keep cranking up the pressure forever. **** will be flyin.
John I know you have common sense. Japeatr I don't know you yet, but you seem sharp.
Correct.

And i think this discussion should be more brainstorm less argument.

I appreciate the comment on being pretty sharp. Im a Mechanical Engineer in the power sector for a large company.

John, John, and I have been around awhile when it comes to these cars. I would think this thread has some potential to unlock what many are trying to achieve.

John W. and I bicker all the time lol we're good friends.
I agree though. Letting it turn I to an argument wouldn't help any.

i can crank a 255 pump to take 100psi. a little known fact of VOLUME. you could have 3658723615836289532 psi of pressure, but **** for volume. guess what?!?! oh thats right, no fuel.

on my 380whp tune, i ran a modded 255 pump with a base pressure of 42 on the aeromotive regulator {return system} e85, id1k's. blah blah blah.
the 044 will outflow the doucehwerks.

From what I have seen the 044 doesn't outflow it till after 70psi.....which is useless anyways.

JapEatr, I know I am down an ATI and cams from your setup as my car sits now, but I have just a walbro 255 and ID1k's on an otherwise stock fuel system besides a fuel pump rewire and I have fuel up to 7600 rpms and the occasional 7800, even on the summer blend of E85. Like I said, I'm not flowing quite the air you are, but it gives you some idea.
I never dynoed or ran cuz i had to sell the car cuz of no job but had the same tune as area and my id1000s idled perfect :-) :-) I think I was in the 360 ish range all I needed to add was cams. I wish I had my car still damn it

c112 is 95 dollars for 5 gallons on special.
right. E85 sounds sort of okay for octane.
Japetr, try Racetronix for grins they got lotsa injectors, but Area Infra and Arm seem to be the most current on sources....

If aero motive works for you guys then more power to you. I just like having something tested and guaranteed on the fuel I'm running.

I say buy the id1000s
Run a base pressure around 42-50
And be done

With my rsfs, dw300 and 80s on a 2.7 my idc was 83% at 7k with a 50psi base pressure
At which point my tuner recommended that's where we leave my redline until I get larger injectors

actually it's not. you can run a much higher base pressure, and in some applications will yield more power.

for ***** n grins.

single walbro 400 in the tank. surge tank set up with twin 044's on it. id1k injectors. -8/-10 feed, -6 return. never have a fuel issue again.

The higher base pressures will start running back into idle issues

Only reason I didn't mention you and a few others is because I was talking dyno numbers and track results. I knew your setup well though! And whats this about idle? Only time I had idle issues is when I started using the new tables that were released, but for the 14 months I ran them before that there were no issues. It does make more power with the new data though than the ones I previously hacked together, but I also fixed my belt slip issue at the same time so comparison is skewed. I will say the car drives better and feels stronger throughout with ID data though, and no idle issues all year. Well, I guess now the car idles and drives like poo....but I have a huge vacuum leak at the IM Ill go to the shop and fix it one of these days when it warms up and I drive the car.

I agree it is nice having everyone getting involved, especially some of the people that have pioneered these setups on this platform. I have heard a few people say Area doesn't like to help people out, but that is not the case. If you approach him with an educated question or a grasp of what is going on he is very helpful. He helped me out when I first started running the Id1k's. If you just blindly ask him something that you don't know anything about and don't want to learn about, just want a handout, who would want to help?

Here, pretty much every table is a simple cut and paste:
