Ya stage 2's. I guess it's not crucial to have right now because my car doesn't move but it's still nice to look at go fast parts and give me drive to get it back together. Ill be picking my short block up in the new year then spending every spare time I have getting it turn key for spring.

Yeah, I hear ya man.

I had a hell of a battle with UPS dropping my cams off. They kept showing up at my house during working hours. The one day they claimed they would come between 2-4. I took the afternoon off that day to be there when they arrived. Well, when I arrived home there was one of their friggin tags on the door. The asshats stopped by at 12:15pm. ZZP gave no option to just sign the UPS tag, so I needed to be there in person for delivery.

I then had enough of playing tag with them, and after 2 trips to the UPS customer service center had my cams

With #80's I think 2.8 is about as low as you'll be able to go on E. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Sounds like a conservative tune for a ZZP dyno

actually a 2.8 is realy pushing them up to 110%idc a 2.9 would be a better choice

It actually helps alot. If you are running an 80lb injector and you are running 22 psi of boost, thats 40lb's of injector flow you are losing. With the rising rate regulator you just got all that flow back.

it would actually be nice if whipple would do a 2.9 or larger kit for the 6,2 trucks vs modding the camaro kit to work.

just venting.

Talking to Harrop they offered me a deal on TVS if folks want a source for them. I am in no rush, they seem decent to deal with , certainly based on the parts they have sold me. They said and I quote "We are more than happy to supply a unit/units directly to you if you wish to buy them. Our agreement with *** is not exclusive and if you think the LSJ superchargers are something that you could sell locally we could discuss a multi buy price if you wanted to hold some stock for sale..."

This is a tough market to deal in. This is for a car not made since 2007, and even though the install is retardly simple, the 1320 supercharger does require some tuning expertise.

Folks that are interested should contact me directly, but for the moment, I continue to work on my own TVS and remain happy and content with the Harrop workmanship and the results.

Bry why s/c and spend 100 whp twisting rotors. A pair of truck manifolds turned around (o wait you gotta truck) and a big turbo on there, you can blow that sucker up faster than you can say "Kansas City here I come"

ease of install and with a 2.9 or larger blower it will see over 700 rwhp, hell a 3.3 or bigger could yield over 1k whp with the right heads and cam. don't have to worry about oil leaks, or melting the coolant reservoir. usual things not many people think of.

besides, the turbo kit design i have in mind would run me about 10k to do {including fuel system}.

in the end, a set of heads will end up being the final thing on the truck
