Lol one step at a time! I'll probably have it done with his next batch. Then start rounding up all the little pieces.

Only mods were bkr7e's
K&N cone filter.(full stock box)
Dual pass
Option b
Long tube header
3" resonator

Almost bare minimum-ish lol

I'm just worried about running factory bottom end. I have all the other mods to support and more, it is just my stock bottom end that worries me.

Would pistons be a wise choice? I feel the stock rods should hold up fine. I am not going for anything much over 300hp

I'll be running a 2.6 on a stock engine... pistons would be good if you want to do them but they are not needed

If you do go past 300hp, you have to upgrade all the bottom end like the cams, valves, and cam bearings.. and you have to modify the valve cover so you can run a coolant line into it so you can keep the internal parts cooled.

You will be fine on the stock bottom end if you are only going for 300 on a TVS.

This is the first I'm hearing of adding a coolant line to valve cover. Please elaborate as this may b something I have to look into

The coolant keeps the pistons a lot colder so the engine runs colder so you make more horsepowers. best cooling mod out there

You know the nipple on the back of the valve cover? Take some heater hose and attach it to the nipple and tap into the coolant pipe right below it. Yes, it is much better than meth. It keeps my IAT2 within 5* of IAT1 even after a pull

Don't u have to run a return line somewhere? Can't just pour coolant into cover without having a place for it to go?
