That's a huge claim they make of 60hp gain, it would be better if they listed mods the car already had.
Who wants to buy a head from me and do some dyno results!

If I'm gathering this correctly, that 278 is intake of a cnc port, I'm talking about non ported. I don't believe infra's intake was touched..... Therefor if that's true, it would probably outflow the intake, as I tested it at 230 Cfm.
Infra's head works well for him, no doubt about it.

To some yes, I don't get too wild. But as said before it doesn't take much to make good gains. I've got a so many things going on, I forget if we discussed intake work or not. We will go over that again if you'd like

I wonder how OTTP's ported head stacks up against say a different CNC head (m2)? I believe he told me it was CNC ported.

I looked at the wrong one its 260cfm@.500 in and infras intake side was touched alot

Ex 199
Both @.500 lift
that's why flow benches are like chassy dynos you can go to 10 different and get 10 different numbers they are tuning tools nothing more

GM wont sell give away or otherwise share the cad file for the GMR LSJ head. I tried, lol, and I purchased the last two of the last run that was made by GMR at my request....CED had purchased the run.

Anybody can get a machine shop to enlarge the port, but its a lot more than that. I think Billabong has to be as good as anyone to hand port a head.... to my knowledge, the only ported heads OTT sold I made for them. And that aint happening anymore for sure.
The ones we hand ported up here flowed as good as or even better than the GMR head. Its all a question of time and money. Somewhere on here are the flow numbers.

Porting a head is a science and an art form. For the LSJ you only worry about the exhaust, and it doesnt really have to be fancy, it just needs to get opened up as it is such a restriction.

The Saab 2.0 head is worse than a stock LSJ.

The LNF heads I go on ZZP's advice, and thats "dont touch it".

They know more than anyone about modding an LNF imho.

For what it's worth, I have a head done by Josh, lsjion, billabong, whatever you call yourself nowadays...

2.7" TVS
ATI Damper
2.1L
ZZP stage 2 cams
full exhaust, etc...

Seeing only around 20-21 psi MAX even on cooler days. His head moves some serious air.

For a little comparison to tennpenn's set up... let's say he's running a 2.6 and no ati.. which is "pretty much" what he has as far as boost levels... I was on a 2.6/TVS and was making 29psi....

Obviously there are other factors and he's a 2.1... but still..... that says something about lsjion's heads

I probably would have gone with LSJ Ion to port if not for 2 problems. 1 I didnt think I was going to port the head yet. 2 The balt is the DD and I cant afford to have it out of operation for very long. I had actually talked to him about doing it about 6 months ago, the timing just wasnt right. I have heard nothing but good things about his porting though.

He's the man! Quite the tuner too :P but he doesn't "show that off" like he does his heads.

Well you're pretty local with OTTP/Josh... You can buy it yourself and have him help ya out.. That's kinda what I did with some local people. I'm no tuner by any means but I learn something everytime I pick the cable up
