I found that the phenolic spacer was very helpful in isolating the IM from the head, allowing the HE system to drop the IATs much faster after the "radiant heat soak".

The biggest thing I noticed running the spacer is when sitting at idle my IAT's wouldn't climb on a hotter day. Which I liked when going to the track. Allowed me to start my run's with lower IAT's.

you guys are nuts if you think the spacer dont work. I ran it on every setup i had and the temps never got as hot without it. Im running it on my turbo setup as well and my iat2s never go above ambient lol. To each his own but i was one of the first testers for it. the other day after a pull my iat temp was 62, iat2 62 to each there own

identical iat 1 to iat2 says someone is on something. Or onto something.

ZZP make a nice phenolic spacer. It is what it is.

I can say that I dont get the results folks say they do on here, so evidently I am doing something wrong.

wrong choice of stimulants perhaps

No disrespect for anyone, on here, but cooling is difficult to collect data on, and NO ONE I have seen on here has shown me they have the tools for real data collection. This requires thermistors, and a DL1 data acquisition system. I have both, and you can see its not easy. I also have IM , fuel rails t stat housings etc, plumbed with thermistors for data collection. I have not done any re visit to the cooling issue, I have not encountered anything that would make me think it contradicts existing data.
