Redlines have a lot more engine bay room. After all electrical plugs were disconnected I hooked up the cherry picker and un-did the mount bolts and literally 5 minutes later it was out. Cranked the load leveler to drop the trans side down a bit and it squeaked right out trans and all. I planned to get it all ready then go to eat that evening at 6 then come back and take it out, but by 4 we had it on the ground next to the car lol.

In a few weeks I'll have round 2 with my 05. That one will take a little bit longer, but still shouldn't be too bad.

so 100%meths build went well until we went to put the rods on the pistons. the wrist pins are a Lil to tight for my liking so the engine will be finished in 2 weeks.
the problem is the small end of the rods were not set properly from the manufactur. the wrist pins go in but r to tight. if we wouldn't had ran into that issue the entire build would have take less than 24 hours and that with breaks and going out to eat.
i take blame for this cuz i trusted Wat i was told by the manufactur. all brand new parts so it should have worked.
made some calls today. they shouldn't have been tight so the rods will get the small ends honed for proper clearance.
we stuck the new block and crank Back in the car so it wasn't a total loss weekend.
Wen i go back down we will drop the pistons in and stick the head on and time it all up while its in the car.
then vroom vroom. lol

I have pulled it out the top and then this last time reinstalled from the top. I did the same thing Infra did, had a load leveler and tilted the hell out of it.

It might just be easier on the Redline.
