lol@ arm I use Irish Spring moisture blast for underbody wash.
great quotes from Bill Shurvinton I threw that up on the Saab site. They Saabistes claim meth injection causes the knock sensors to go off.

Quick question for those on E85 and the stage 2 cams (or were on them) anyone deal with really bad idle surge?

Not after tuning. Play with over/underspeed tables and etc min/max.

not if its tuned right. I ran my Redline today in the nice dense air ( stock cams) its such a nice car with a 4.45 and an AREA47 Tune its kinda like smooth as butter, idles nicer than the SAAB turbo, and launches just fine for me like a never ending torque constant peakless rush. Life is good, too bad its time to put it back in the garage for 6 months.

Like Alan said, with some fudging with it you can get them to idle nicely. Once in a while I would get mine to jump up and down a little if I played with the pedal just right (kind of like how my car did stock when at low speeds playing with the throttle), but it would work itself out. It didn't just get smooth overnight though, I had some time into messing with them, and I'm sure there was still room for improvement.

Only issue I had with the map sensor was the TVS hitting it, even with the notch and turn.

Have to use a zzp 1/2 spacer to have the TVS clear it

I rotate the sensor trim it and the TVS holds it down. For 75,000 miles. Area47 did that for 90,000 miles

Ok I'm going to do that because I threaded the hole and put a hose on it, so I don't think it's getting good airflow through it
