2.9, run it all day every day never have a care in the world. 2.6-2.7, be aware of what is going on, again a solid tune, monitoring equipment, and a little bit of "do no care" attitude and keep up on maintenance and as long as it has had a good life it will treat you right. My car got raced and raced and raced for 3 years on the 2.7 and 2.6 and never had one single issue, but when I am driving around town its usually grandma status, and it always gets warmed up properly. I take care of it well, but am not afraid to set down the purse when its time to play. Many runs to 140+ with God only knows how high IAT's, but I was confident in the car and the tune and was always making sure things were up to par with both. This was all on E85 too by the way.
For most, the 2.9 is plenty of fun. If no access to E85, I would probably not drop below a 2.9 or maybe a 2.8, but that is just my personal outlook.

^ I never race mine, oil is always changed on time, and I too drive it like a granny. I just want to make some power lol, I don't like to think I spent good money on a TVS to only make 300hp. I'm making 247wtrq and 298whp on this crappy tune, so yea I'm not happy

Because I want to race it in the future and it's not about racing it or not, it's the fact that spending 2k on a blower and not even making 300 is dissapointing as f*ck

To get power out of the TVS it takes octane, high rpms, and a good tuner. It has been said in this thread and a million others before. A lot of people tend to slap a small pulley on a TVS just like they would an m62 and when they don't make over 300hp they wonder what is wrong with their car. You said you are on a 2.6 and only making 298hp. Step up to a 2.8 or 2.9 and get that meth kit hooked up and running. I have never seen anyone on here get power out of a 2.6 pulley without some sort of high octane fuel. Most use E85. If you don't have access to E85 a fire hose nozzle and meth injection should do the trick.
