Yes i think you can get away with it.

We're on a 2.9 seeing 105% idc by 7500 rpm using e85 and made 341

I'd give the 2.7 a shot on your 1k's. If idc are high, just pulley up a to 2.8.

If I had an Ls4 tb, that make up the 9 hp needed for 350. You need to rev the TVS though. It was a 10 hp difference forgoing from 6500 to 7500

I'm in a similar situation. I have an 05 LSJ with a TVS on a 2.9 and 80s. My goals are only 320-330whp which is plenty for a daily for me. I was going to swap pumps for e85 and keep the 2.9. If I decide to pulley down to a 2.7 I'd go with the BRFPS or return style system.

wouldnt the problem be needing larger injectors and not a new pump or BRFPS..? I thought 80s on E85 maxed out on a 2.9 pulley

Ive been trying to do some research on what pulley size and fuel mods i will need to achieve this (i already have all the basic bolt ons; intake, header, dp, exhaust, dual pass, s3 heat exchanger, etc...)

The tvs has a 2.6 on it currently, do i just need to buy a zzp BRFPS?
Guess where that came from

Yes 80's, 2.9 on stock fuel system is maxed out. I'm doing a return/boost reference system now and can stretch my 80's a little further for a 2.7. I'll let you know my idc's soon

Mantic Performance Clutch Kit Mantic Performance Clutches
read this. exedy do a stage 2 for the F23 very inexpensive and is rated around 300 wheel torque. under rated. GMPP is similar. just like these outrageous claims for transmission orque capacity from vendors who should know better, throwing out numbers just sucks people in....

So would you go with 1000s then? I'm trying to figure out what pump to go with because the 05s pumps are weaker . However, I've read the AEM e85 pump is a good choice but it's a pain in the ass to make it fit as is the walboro 255 in the 05s

Like mentioned above. If going e85 do Wally 450 and trim a little, all the pumps need trimming anyway.

I did the DW300 and it needed a little trim. But Jape here already maxed that pump out.

I'd do 1k's inj but my build plans call for more injector.

1k's, return style with good pump base pressure turned up on a built head TVS motor should get you around the 400whp mark with small pulley. More if you keep the pulley big

My friend is running my old TVS on a 2.7 and my old 1k's on the stock fuel system and stock 04 pump and he has fuel up to his 7400 rpm redline. Going to put in his AEM pump soon, but the stock one has held up so far.

I ran my stock clutch on the TVS and 2.7 and a ported head for a year with no issues. Swapped it out just because GMPP's are cheap and I like doing 7k launches on slicks at the track lol

I had a set of Hoosier QTP cheater slicks, 26x9.5 on a 16" wheel. I now have 24.5x8.5 MT slicks on a 15" wheel. Only got to use the full slicks once though, on a bad track day last year. Lots of fun the few times I've used them on the street though
