Actually I'm looking for other signs than that.
I'm 100% positive the color will be spot on.

if you can't read a plug, or know when to do it, you shouldn't be tuning a car. period. You can shove 32 degree's of timing up it's ass and wing it and see what happens....

I never said I was tuning Steves car all I did was pull some timing out befor hitting the car with nitrous to be on the safe side if something were to hickup.
I logged the car so he could see of there was any changes that needed to be made.
other than that I just drove the car.

With enough pulls like that you'll likely find more shiny particles in your oil pan than they found on the whole first season of Gold Rush

Trevor I wasn't making a job at you, just so there is no confusion there. I was referring to the 32* advance comment.

I am going to be blunt about this. I have seen your timing maps. You need to circle around a few more times before the phrase, "with all due respect" is used.

Exactly I'm not a turner.

All I did with steves tune was -5 from the whole table. not rocket science.
I'm just the wrench monkey here.

Except you pulled low end timing which will make it run hotter...

Why not subtract the plateau and smooth boundaries?

I know it's been covered but I'm on my phone (laptop needs fixed) but I'm dropping pulley size soon, how small can I go on stock belt/how small on the gms2 belt. Would it be efficient to do 2.7 or should I not go that low. I've read something about 2.9 being best. What else will I need, belt/tensioner(?) to make it work.
I'm putting my front mount intercooler on soon and getting the car tuned/dynod but I would like to drop pulley before doing that.

We maxed our 80's on the 2.9 running e85 by 7k

Just put a return boost reference fuel system on. Now the 80's are doing fine on a 2.7.

I just picked up some 1k's and may sell the 80's if we use them.
