I've been looking at that one for a long time. If my current setup was actually a restriction on my setup, I'd be all over it. I still may end up purchasing it one day.

I might actually buy it right now lol. I STILL have header/dp leaks on my zzp longtubes. It has driven me up the wall and i am done with it. Hope ottps fully tigged setup works. Also before installing gonna take it to a shop and make sure all the flanges are flatter than your moms chest.

Only thing in that list hindering you is the badmab.

Smaller than the stock manifold primaries. I used to own one.

Quality wise... yes, absolutely!!

Performance wise, maybe a little better because they use slightly larger primaries than Badmab.

As an fyi, the primary size Badmab lists (1.71") is incorrect. They are actually 1.625".

Stock/GMPP is 1.666", splitting hairs I know, lol.

Edit... ZZP's are also 1.625" just checked the website... meh.

Nah... I wouldn't, unless you are going to go with a nice long tube setup.

My badmab is cracking around the flanges which is why I'm in the market for a new one

I was wondering if the merge collector was worth the extra money

I'm also trying to set my car up to be as efficient as possible before going for any real power.

he only has long tubes ... so your forced to buy the header/dp ... thats $500-700+ once you add in your options. For power yes that's the better bet ... but $ wise, just replace the header.

OTTP's long tube is 1.875" and 2" primaries depending on what u order.

OTTP's header is ideal for us people with ported heads, and extra flow.

OTTP Long Tube Header With Merge Collector

^ That's the one I'm talking about.

Not their old long tube, or the budget long tube they sell that you can also find on e-bay.

http://www.ottperformance.com/store/...?idCategory=22

Here's what OTTP now offers. Their new long tube is a much better design that the old one they used to sell.

I just bought a 1.75" one with a merge collector within the last month. He must have just "discontinued" them

I no longer make the 1.625" and 1.75" headers. Stopped about 3 months ago.

All of the shorty headers are made in China, our budget long tube is made in China. When looking for a Chinese made part the first thing that will pop out is that it is polished. The second is that the flanges are cast and not laser cut.

The new long tube is much nicer on the o2 sensor install, still a pain to install the header though lol. As always message me for a deal....

That's 1.875" boss. You got one of the first production ones of those. More people have bought the 2.0" so far, must be all those 1900 builds

I definitely wanna get Ottp's new style header. Will go very well for when we finally get a ported head and cams. For now I just like to finish our bolt on's.

Josh tell us more about the mergo collector headers!
Im super interested... Dont care too much about gaining 5 hp over my current setup, more interested in the noise and leaks!

When I replace the header I'm replacing the downpipe too since I decided to go catless.... Hope I don't regret that decision gonna mate it to one hell of a resonator as well as a decent muffler hopefully corsa. So I'm willing to spend the extra $$ for it. Was really curious about the merge collector and how well it works on our engines.
