Im sure the merge works great, its a proven concept that maybe just need some tuning tweaks to make the most of it.

Interesting piece of dyno fun we had last night. No graphs yet, just thought I'd mention it for the time being, as we will be doing some throttle body comparisons as well.

Car is a Redline with my old TVS, on E85 and 1200's, RSFS, full exhaust, LS4 TB. Stock head and stock cams. Did 2 pulls on the 2.7 that he's had on there for almost 2 years and they were within .1whp of each other. Swapped to a 2.6" pulley quick and did another pull 5 minutes later, about the same time that was in between the previous runs. Started with the intake and coolant temps within 2* on each pull, and ran the same timing and AFR. Picked up 10whp and 11wtq. I was pretty impressed. Did another pull right after making some very slight tweaks out of curiousity and gained another 2whp and 2wtq.

But for an apples to apples comparison from a 2.7" to 2.6" pulley we gained 10whp and 11wtq. I didn't really expect that much of a gain for such a small change.

That's a nice comparison. Makes I definitely felt a difference from our 2.9 set up to our current 2.6. I'm hoping to pick up similar gains when dynoing again

Thanks for sharing that Taylor. Nice info.

With the extra fuel from my rewire, I might mess with pulley size again as well... but I may wait until after I re-dyno this fall.

Pulling on to the highway this morning felt like my car gained 20whp due to the nice chilly 50 degree temps, lol.

Well he has R888's like me now and soft tires drop the power on my twin roller dyno a bit. Power went from 343whp on the 2.7 before to 319whp with nothing changed but the tires. The 2.6 made 329whp, and finished at 331whp. We will get it back on with the regular street tires for some glory pulls lol.

The R888's aren't too terribly bad on the dyno for numbers, but you should see what ET Streets do on the dyno

Well at least for a comparison from the 343whp we made before lol.

When we had my friend's Supra on the dyno with ET Streets on it, 16 lbs made 505whp, and 22 lbs made 520whp And there was rubber everywhere lol. Twin small roller dyno's don't get along with soft tires I guess. On a dyno Dynamics on street tires he made 550whp on 16 lbs and 905whp on 30. We will put that on with some normal tires soon too Still learning things about the dyno every day, like the tire issue lol

Almost ready to go in! It's now 7am, amd I haven't been to bed haha. Time for another beer and a nap. Have a few things to wrap up and then it goes in. Overcoming a few of the oddball 07 l61 things was a challenge, but it seems to be working out.

My valve cover has a drastically different profile than the lsj. The tank on the line hit the valve cover, and there is no provision to use the bolt/mounting tab. The tab is cut off and I had to bend the line up and out to clear the valve cover. You can see the bolt sticking up with the clamp to hold the line.I have some nice techflex loom I'm going to wrap the hardline in to make it less noticable. And the lsj head uses a different coolant overflow hose, and this allowed my oem to fit properly.

******* badass only problem is the fuel pressure regulator location will not make it possible to change the filter without removing it first
