As a dd it's not smart as a car that it's just raced apon it's fine if it's a car that can break down. Having the check valve is fine but what if something fails? You know the answer which it happens quite often. I'm just saying so don't get your panties all bunched up.

( but they aren't dds, or they have a seperate file for dd driving)
Fitting a 2.0 liter Ecotec with a roots supercharger isn't smart either. It's highly inefficient at greater PSI and requires greater jetting.

The word "smart" was thrown out the window a long time ago

Smart is responsibility. Gm is stupid for throwing a pos eaton sc on a 2.0 but theres factors to that which I'm sure you know why. But not the point, a smart responsible tuner will know that going purely based on meth for wot is purelly irresponsible for a car that's driven by a dd .... Ever one I have tuned on meth I give speeches to, is it my standards that do this? Yes, I want to make sure people know if there meth fails they are fucked.

Now that your preaching has hit an all time high... I think he gets the point.

James it's his responsibility... We the tuners have the ability to make hp, it's their responsibility to maintain it.

Yeah his PSI based switch which fed off a vacuum line came off. It wasn't properly secured unfortunately, and he was to pre-occupied going down the quarter mile that he wasn't watching his AFR or interceptor.

Other factors that led to his engine early demise were his very high air intake temps, cylinder temps and egts.

I like this meth injection talk haha. I know where James is coming from. With that much meth you are relying strictly on it for fuel. But I think almost no matter how much meth you spray, if you don't pay attention or have a proper meth monitor system like a pressure switch and setting up your interceptor for knock you're going down almost regardless.

it wasnt that the line wasnt secured right. It also wasnt the vacuum line to my meth switch that came off. It was the cheap pos autometer gromet that is supposeably rated to 30psi that failed on me at 24psi. Everything was secured and installed correctly. But steve is right when u are running as fast as i do in the 1/4 im listening to the motor, trying to to bang limiter as i nls, and keep the car centered on the lane. When u are cutting 1.7-1.6 60's in a fwd shes an animal to maintain. With all that going on i dont watch afr or kr down the 1320. But i also have a great tuner and knew i didnt have to watch the stuff, (unless mechanical failure happened) which it did. Steve im going to agree with james on the 100% meth deal i begged joe to do that and up my nozzle to a 14gph but he refused to tune the car if i did that since she was my DD. But i wont disagree that its a way to make more power and timing

that and it being hot that day didnt help. Iat2's were 130 at the line and 160 across the trap. No matter how efficient your intercooler is, when its hot as ***** it will get high. I was also going for a goal which most couldnt dream of reaching, and didnt care if i blew her up in the process. Most of you will never run and drive your car as hard as i do, and for her lasting to 83k miles on the stock internals and being raced quite litterally every weekend, and the occasional street race my hat is off to the lsj engine as she can take a beating ( i would like to kick the autometer engineer in the ***** for designing that gromet though as none of this would have ever happened)

Agreed that grommet sucks the big one. I want to do a fitting like what they use on the back of the gauge. That would be a much better set up.
