if you can find those parts

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/adva...cooler-199405/

this one is done by using stock oil cooler adapter I would weld bungs on instead of threading

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l...set-up-219490/

and there is nothing wrong with the stock filter and the search button works

You realize the inside of those filters look no different than the $5 paper filter? You can cut the housing off and drill/tap for line connections for a relocate, there are a few on here that have done that iirc

many years ago 1 or 2 people did that but know one else has since then and you also need to have the engine completely disassembled to accomplish it

i know there the same but just for sake ease and not geting oil over my engine taking the filter out it would be nice to have it remotly mounted right at the bottom so when i drain the oil bam oil filters right there and at worst gets on the floor that was my main reason for wanting to move it

Adding to why it is pointless and more of a pain than its worth if your only relocating the filter and not for additional cooling like the threads you linked

I would love to relocate mine. With this intake manifold I need to take the throttle body off to get the oil filter out.

I could use one as well. To fit a transaxle you must ditch the stock oil cooler.
