Okay two questions...

Ok so before i start, let me say that i just got my car back from the dealership last night from getting my new intake gasket and pcv under warranty... SO i put in my 8000k hid kit and my injen intake!!! i LOVE the sound this intake gives me!

but to my questions...

1- My car only boosts like 10, and it works its way up there from 8 psi... I thought our cars boost 12.5??

2- Which lowering springs will get me the lowest without using coilovers? i am thinking the eibach but is there a spring that goes lower? Along with the springs that go lowest, after i put those on, how wide of a tire would i be able to go? I would love to squeeze a 235/40 front and rear, but im worried about rubbing issues...

Any help is greatly appreciated GUYS!!! THANKS!

oh and i read the sticky about springs but most of them only compare the non ss/sc models.. i want the lowest kit for the ss/sc

What altitude are you? Higher you are, the less psi youll show... Its nothing to worry about.. I only saw like 11 psi or so stock.

Im not sure on the suspension question...

its all the same geometry in the suspension. so if it is the lowest for the ls car its the lowest for the sc. it just wont drop it as much on the sc car as it would the ls.

these cars all make diff psi, diff altitudes diff pulleys. yes stock they boost about 12.5psi at sea level.

as far as wide tires, my car has trouble rubbing with 225's stock hieght

okay well i live in illinois so idk if that would help you or not haha... i have done some searching while waiting for some replies and it looks like the H&R springs put you the lowest... i kind of expected that i had the H&R on both my audis... my question then is which H&R springs do i get? RACE OR SPORT?

You rub with 225?!?! crap! i want a wider tire!!! haha

well my car is a bit odd, my cai pushes out a bit on one side and my meth pump pushes out a bit on the other side... i dont know how your cai is but if its like mine it pushes out a bit. just a heads up. youll also want to run wider rims with those tires. these rims are pretty maxed out at 225

the peak boost will by near redline...................... so try it in 3rd gear and right near the end you should see around 12.5....

10 is def low unless you are at some crazy altitude

He's around 700 ft above sea level according to the net. So it should be a good area for boost.

if hes only 700 feet then he should be making 12 psi.

Also others have ran 235's without issues. i dont see why you cant.
