Opinions on cams, springs, and BS..

Current set up is in sig.. basically 2.6/m62, bolt ons, and meth..

Trying to look at some options as for what I should do now..

Thinking maybe ZZP Stage 2 cams, 82# valve springs/retainers, and neutral balance shafts.. or balance shaft delete..

My question is how much would I benefit from that? ^ Would it be worthless since my bottom end isn't built? or worthless since i'm still on M62?
I heard I wouldn't gain much since i'm still on M62 and not built...

Also, how beneficial would a ported head be with the M62?
I've heard tons of talk about how beneficial ported heads are, but i'm not sure if that's just TVS cars, or if it also applies to M62 cars..

Don't mention the word turbo..
Thanks for any help!

all of that has been covered several times next time search

it dosent matter if the engine is built or not the stock rods and pistons are pretty dam good as for a ported head yes you will benifit from it with a set of cams you will benifit from it even more it dosent matter if it is on a m62 or a tvs nbs or bsd is worth it as long as you dont mind the added vibrations as for how much power you will pick up it will depend alot on how healthy your engine is how well it is tuned and so fourth as for springs they are required for better valve control with higher lift cams
