Is a custom hptune a huge difference or what.. Ive heard canned tunes suck.. I have a buddy that owns a performance shop by me that will tune it for $300 first tune and $150 for each tune after and his shop uses hptuners..

Holy ****, friends don't charge that.... Lol a lot of tuners charge 150-300 one time fee unless it's a drastic change like ethanol and etc

He works at the shop, he doesn't run it. He gives me his discount which isn't much but they usually charge 400 first time and 200 after that.. Yeah I've known him for close to ten years.. The owner says they have to pay to unlock my vin plus spend time getting it right. I don't know if that's exactly true but I'll take a dollar off if that's all they'd give lol.. Is that a outrageous amount??

This is far off topic but real quick question.. The gas station up the road from me sells 110 octane racing fuel.. Do I have to change anything if I wanted to run that or can I just empty my tank all the way and fill up?

You know, for the price I can get hptuners for, that wouldn't be a bad idea but I have never tuned a car with hptuners.. How hard is it?? And your saying I need no tune for 110?? What are the gains?? And what do you charge for a tune?
