P02135 Tracking Down the Problem help

Car has been throwing P02135 for a few months now, I've been reading a lot on here, it is usually the TB and cables, I was also under the impression that it could be the gas pedal since it says pedal/throttle sensor.

Before I spend some money on this I want to make sure I buy the right thing the first time, is it possible to test which problem it really is?

It's not a big problem although is becoming more common, I just clear it off with my interceptor...

Probably would have to grab a multi-meter to test the ohms but the issue is trying to figure out on the throttle what plug is what. Best bet would be to eliminate the pedal first.

Ya I'm sorry lol. You would have to get also a print out of the readings depending upon the % of throttle applied. When does it the code happen? Is there a particular condition that makes the code pop up or is it just normal driving? Start up? Engine Temp? It might be possible to eliminate one piece by just some info.

When my car was throwing this code (along with 2138 code), the ecu had to be replaced to fix the problem. The dealership replaced the TB, gas pedal, The wires to the TB, the wires to the gas pedal, and finally the computer and that's what finally fixed it.

So it being the pedal is not as likely?

I wouldn't really rule it out because its just a resistor like the throttle is and resistors can go bad. The ECM being bad would of course be the final answer if both the pedal and the throttle appear to be bad.

Like I said before is it just completely random or is there a particular thing that triggers it?

So if the car is warmed up its fine but when it's cold there's an issue or is it an issue when it's warmed up and not when it's from a cold start?

My car threw this code and went into limp mode every time. It ended up just needing a new TB, but I bought the pedal assembly anyway. If you need it I could sell it to you. I ordered it from RockAuto and when it got here I had already installed the TB and fixed the problem, so it hasn't even been taken out of the box
