p0420 ??
I put a zzp catted dp on and get the 420 code a lot. If I disable the code through hptuners will the emission check that attaches to my OBDII port know I disable it or will it be just like not having the code at all??

I've been through this.
Here in ohio, with our emissions testing, they will detect the code being turned off.
The ECU has to be 'ready' for them to read it. If you've recently unplugged your battery for a long time, or had a dead battery for a long time, all those long and short term fuel trims are reset and they need to be relearned. Untill they stabilize, some bit in the ECU is set to "unready" and they cannot connect to OBD2 untill that bit flips to "ready"
If any code is disabled, the ECU wont become "ready" until that code is re-enabled. Now, here in Ohio, that doesn't mean you fail. It just means they have to do a sniff test. If you think you'll pass then you are good to go.
If not you may want to think about turning the code back on and buying a couple spark plug foulers, drilling one out, screwing them into each other and into the O2 bung, then screwing the rear O2 sensor into it. This will stop the P0420 codes even if its enabled, and you ecu will become "ready" again.
