People with widebands...
When you are cruising around or idling whats your display say? I have the AEM UEGO and while cruising or idleing the "needle" and display bounce anywhere from 14.5-16.0
Is this normal? When I go WOT though its easy to read and doesn't bounce at all and steadily lowers down to just about 10 flat lol...I know I know I'm gonna get that taken care of very shortly

mines installed at like the 4 oclock position and he didn't take it out to do it. Also that's looking at it from under the hood.

May I ask whats wrong with the bottom? Just asking because thats how the mechanic did it. Hell he's been around here for a long time so I assumed he'd know how to install a o2 sensor.

water condensates at the lowest point....meaning, your sensor is more apt to getting water on it the lower it is. Believe it or not, the exhaust contains water, not a lot, but enough to skew sensitive parts like a O2 sensor.

Oh ok, well like I've said before during WOT it's really accurate and steady. It's just when I'm idling and cruising is when it bounces around and even after it's warmed up it still does it. I was following behind a eclipse with the same gauge and his was doing the same thing while we was stopped at the light.

I just installed mine recently and this is what it reads. Steady driving (55ish) it reads between 14-16. When gassing it, it reads around 11.3-13.5. When starting the car it reads 13.3 then jumps to 15 once the car warms up. At idle mine is everywhere as well. I can tell it follows the car really well, between high and low idling it shifts acordingly. So yours sounds right, I asked the same thing when i installed mine .

yeah but only when intially starting the engine. doesnt condensate all the time but to be safe dont put it on the buttom.

The bouncing you see at idle and cruising are normal. That is the way stock computer is set and it saves fuel at low load and steady rpms. Such as highways cruising. Nothing to worry about. The change in start up air to fuel is due to the warm up procedure.
