Pinched exhaust
Alright I made a little mistake. A few months ago I paid an exhaust shop 60 bucks to replace the 2.25" section with 2.5". They said they could do it for 60 bucks which I thought was cheap so I went with it. I didn't know though that there was mandrel bending which stretches and doesn't pinch and whatever they used. Unfortunately they did a fucken terrible job. There are sections on this pipe that are probably pinched to 2". I just ordered the ottp over axle replacement to fix this but in the mean time how much hp do you guys think I have been losing from this? Obviously there is no way to know but it's definitely a substantial amount due to the fact that I just ran a si from a dig and he stayed by my side until I started pulling hard towards the top of second. I feel shitty.

I think he was stock... I didn't give it everything in first though because I didn't know if he was gonna race and then I still gave it 3/4 so I wouldnt spin. Second gear I gave it everything and started pulling hard halfway to 3/4 into second. This pinch is pretty terrible. I would imagine it definitely taking away more then 5 hp. Its the same thing as having a 2" exhaust.. Bottle neck. I would think going from a 2" exhaust to 2.5" inch would make more then a 5 hp increase.
