Plan on stage III upgrade soon. My ideas your input?
Ok, so i got a smashed up cobalt SS coming to me this saturday. I figure the repairs will take about 2 weeks (hit a curb-ripped of knuckle/hit pole, blew air bags). Its not too bad. This will be my first cobalt, and after seeing some stage III videos on you tube, I wont be able to resist. I've done some research, and here is what I plan on doing
-2.8" pulley+ smaller belt
-port SC intake/outlet
-add cobra heat exchanger
-upgrade injectors (i have some 60lb's RC engineering ones laying around)
-Tune it all up with HPT
-aqua mist water/meth injection (have a kit laying around somehwere
Anything i'm forgetting? What size injectors you guys running? Seems these ss's are super easy to tune and add power to.
I've been reading about this 2-pass intercooler end plate? why is it necessary??
Last but not least, any one hit 300hp yet without adding a TC?
if so, who did it and how?? this is my new goat.

a few are close to 300WHP, but really you will have so many traction issuses your list there is going to be twice the size. Also tuning is a harder process then I think you think it is, alot of people blow their engines up, so watch it.

No worrys, I know what i'm doing. I specialize in custom body work, but have done everything from a turbo charged solstice (450rwhp) to a pro-track vette. Any one have some hpt tunes that are close to my setup that they want to send?

Anything i'm forgetting?Exhaust and traction mods What size injectors you guys running? Gm stage Kits are 42's lots of guys run 60's Seems these ss's are super easy to tune and add power to.42's easy 60's bit more difficult. They are just over the limit of the pcm.And it does weird stuff sometimes. Also gm stage III pcm not cracked yet.
I've been reading about this 2-pass intercooler end plate? why is it necessary??You add a port to the centre tie the top and bottom ones together on the intercooler end plate, flip the last 2 cores around and now it is 2 parallel paths rather than all 4 tubes running in series.Last but not least, any one hit 300hp yet without adding a TC? Gm stage III on nitrous if so, who did it and how?? this is my new goat.
Here are the really fast guys probably at 300 hp https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/drag-racing-52/official-cobalt-1-4-mile-list-65389/
