Not sure if cobalts are the same as cavs but it is similar to when we have to do a theft lock relearn...

Dunno why it would do that but..

Ya it almost seems like your MAF isn't reading properly.

What if it does?
Wha if it doesn't?

Plan on checking the maf out when I get off work today..

Also, sometimes there is a terrible vacuum leak.. Like it'll idle like its got cams and idle at like 8hgz or whatever. When it normally is like 20hgz.. And when it stalls out like in the video, the vacuum is at like 0hgz..

Also, it only does this sometimes.. Sometimes i start it and it's fine. Sometimes I start it and it just sounds like its cammed and then it'll rev real quick and be normal..

Also have a p1101 code.. It only comes on after driving for like 3-5 minutes.. I can delete it and it'll stay off UNTIL I turn the car off, restart it and drive for a couple minutes..

Just unplug it and see if the car starts and runs. It'll basically be in SD mode. If it'll sit there and idle, then the maf is bad, or something is going on with the wiring, look for pinch / rub points, could even be the connector not seated properly.

If I give it a little bit of a gas, the problem is stronger then my foot I guess you could say, and it'll bog down and die.. if I keep it above like 4k for about 30 seconds then it's good to go..
