Please help. Im pissed!
So i just got my second cobalt ss/sc about a month ago. its a 2007 with 15k miles now. its gm pre-owned certified. From day one i thought that the tires in front were cambered in way too much. I did an alignment at my work today and the camber is at -2.4 on both sides. Its not lowered and my previous cobalt was on h&r springs and the camber wasnt that bad. I take it to the dealership and they say nothing is wrong, and that alignment issues arent warrantied.
My question is... If both sides are that bad and my insides of my tires are completely bald, isnt that more than just an alignment issue? Does anyone have this issue? im pissed, and i dont wanna be going through tires every 10k miles

Ya, I would take it to another dealer or fight it with your current one. That's kind of a lot to be off. I'd definitely do something about it. If you really need to, contact GM directly. Maybe that will get the dealership moving.

alignments are not covered, get a camber kit from nappa and adjust the camber +
i think alignments are only covered for up to 12k miles. camber kit is only 30 ish dollars and easy to do

No help but funny to see your cars in your sig....I'm coming from nearly the same stuff just GTP's earlier
Had an 01.5 Audi 1.8TQMS which I later traded in for a 01 S4 Bi-Turbo, both where santorian blue
Now the 09 TC. I was able to go 4 years w/o needing cars due to work/travel schedule for work. Figured I would support the general some again

why cant I? is that really something that wouldnt be covered under warranty? i have had the car only 30 days, and the carfax is clean. i remember seeing a sticker on the driver side, but i dont know what it was on, like what part or anything. im in the city and my car is at home in the suburbs so i cant look until tomorrow
i would do that, but if its off that bad, and im not even lowered, think of how bad it will be when im lowered on my H&R's.. what if i cant correct it?

well, lowering the car will probably affect your toe settings more then anything really. And you will be able to correct it. If you can't find the cam bolts with enough adjustment in them, you can use the factory bolts and elongate the slots in the strut to give you more room to work with.

yea i see what your saying. and i could do that, but i feel that this really shouldnt be necessary for a almost new car with only 15k miles.. my other cobalt had 18k miles, and i dropped it with the H&R's and i didnt even need a camber kit with those. it was green all the way
yea, but you also don't know how the guy before you drove the car......he could of had it lowered, tore the tires up and put stock stuff back on and traded. If you wanted to keep the car...talk to the dealer and see if they can help you out. Put fresh good tires on, and put it on the rack and see how it does and get it sorted out.
